I remember the last time that happened in Atlanta in 2014. It was awful, had to sleep in my office building on a bed made of conference chairs.

you could always set up a blanket fort in the breakroom. so that you dont have to go home in the weather. just be ready to defend it.
on a serious note, dont forget the peanut butter, and candles. the religious ones stay lit for a LONG time.

Looks like a Rockies and East Coast thing. I’m in the Mid West/Great Lakes and didn’t hear about it first.

I left work at the airport around 2 that day and somehow made it home to Lilburn in about an hour. My boss stayed at the office, he lives in north Cobb, and they ended up sleeping in one of our international planes that was in the hangar. It had lie-flat seats.

That is not nearly enough snow to be considered a snowpocalypse.

This is Alabama. A single flake shuts down everything.

Where was that picture taken? I remember both lanes of every major highway (and road) being jammed full of cars for a long time. It took my neighbors 18 hours to get home that day. It took me 90 minutes to go 5 miles. It was bad.
At least everyone is terrified it’ll happen again, nobody is gonna be out tomorrow morning.

I shovelled three feet of snow off a deck the other day. I’ll probably have to do it again soon.

I have no idea, I just googled, “snowpocalypse Birmingham,” and that’s what’s came up.

while visiting family in the mid Atlantic “wtf is a snow emergency route?!?” “oh that’s one of the few roads that will get plowed.”
